CHRISTMAS in JULY
The long range weather forecast predicts snowfall, remaining
in drifts at
Farmborough Road on 24th July.
It is suggested that you dress
warmly in scarves and beanies when you go out that night
to avoid chills. Stay
inside out of the weather and activities such as singing and dancing are recommended
for keeping up the spirits.
Exchanging hand-made gifts is also a good way to bring smiles
and warmth,
so thinking of your chorus friends should cheer up the chilliest of
evenings
I hear there was a 'Partridge in a Pear Tree'
And of course the ensuing verses some of which we have captured!
We all love Christmas carols - this was a great opportunity to have
a practice in the middle of the year.
Terri says ....
What a great night Christmas in July was last week!
Thanks
to Karen for setting the mood with all her decor items, to Denise for her
Yuletide Physicals and thanks to the Section Leaders who gave presentations
to
recap on the four weeks new members’ program.
Thanks also to the cooks and to
everyone who rose to the challenge of creating
an ornament for the tree.
We had fun, we worked hard and we played hard.
And thanks to Neryl for the photo's.
