FLASHMOB at Shellharbour on Sunday 23rd March.

Jan says .....on Sunday we had 33 chorus members at the Shellharbour Village Markets
for our first “flash mob”
What fun that was! I think we should do it again some time.
Nina Kourea was there taking photos to add to her collection for the Exhibition which
will be on display in the foyer of the Regent Theatre on the day of our Show.
And here they are - courtesy of the Palmers...

And Nina's version - thanks heaps for recording this event
in our history.

Go girls!

Workshop with Vicki Dwyer

This is our first visit and workshop at PCYC in Wollongong with all it's mirrors.

Jan says ... It's been a busy weekend for chorus members!
Our session with Vicki Dwyer on Saturday afternoon was very worthwhile.
I'm sure everyone who attended felt it was time well spent as Vicki worked on
helping us to be better singers in a fun, productive way. How many of you have tried
galloping around as you sing Crazy Little Thing?
And who will forget the “chewing-gum-on-the-bottom-of-the-shoe” feeling to get
that timing right?
Are you remembering to get your sound “over the wall” at theends of phrases?
If you weren't there, you need to ask somebodyabout these things as they certainly made a difference.
Press save.

And, here we are - looking good.
Thanks to the Photographers Apprentice Sandi!

Time to say goodbye to Tenor Ginny.

We will miss Ginny, she is off to live in Perth.
The tenor section (and the rest of the chorus)
said goodbye on Wednesday night last.
We wish you well in your new life in the West.

Welcome to two new Basses!

We welcome Debra Pugh and welcome back Sandi Mitchell.
Its great to have two new members to swell our bass section.
Go girls....

Come on Sandi  ... remember the Jazz hands?
