From the Harem!
It was time to learn a new song but of course any excuse to dress up!
Here are some characters from either Ali Baba's thieves or the harem of a sultan in the
Arabian Nights.

The story goes that every day the Persian king would marry a new virgin, and
every day he would send yesterday's wife to be beheaded. This was done in anger, having found
out that his first wife was unfaithful to him. He had killed 1,000 such women by
the time he was introduced to Scheherazade.
She supposedly had a thousand tales to tell - and by the time she ran out of 'tales'
they had been together for 1,001 nights and had three sons - he had fallen
in love with her so he spared her and made her his wife
