Congratulations to our 'Bi' members

That is members of two choruses!
Here is Sue in her Endeavour T.

And Sue and Colleen with their winning medals.
Congratulations to them both - they had to put in the extra yards to practice, pass riser recordings and compete with another chorus.
Congratulations to Endeavour Chorus - the winners this year.
They'll be off to Honolulu to complete at International next year I wonder?

And they won the Most Improved Trophy

Do they look pleased?

And Jan and Tonic came fifth overall ..... lots of happy smiles

Quartet Chorus practicing ....

On Thursday night a few of us walked down to ANU to check out the venue.
Lucky us, we were able to sit in on the quartets practicing 'Shelter'  directed by Glenda Lloyd from Brindibella Chorus.

The Directors were having a few issues getting organised ......

And their second number, 'I'd like to Teach the World to Sing' - directed by Lea Baker from Endeaour.

Practice in the carpark ....

When we got to Canberra and found our way to Civic, it was noticeable there were a number of SA's 'lurking innocently' around the upper level. They were waiting to join their team in the upper carpark for a practice of the flashmob to be conducted at 1pm.

Convention 2012 in Canberra

We started off the weekend with a Flashmob in Canberra's Civic shopping complex.
Thanks to Jan for manning the camera while the rest of us joined in with the 200 plus other SA's to sing 'I am Australian' ....

Coaching today with Virginia ...

We worked hard this afternoon polishing up our songs for our Mother's day concert.
We were entertained by the Gota girls and Bazinga.
Tomorrow we look forward to a varied concert with other artists at Warilla Bowling Club  - watch this space!

Glamour Girl

Recognise one of our Brilliant front row Basses?
Pat Richo found her in this weeks Womans Day when she was doing the crossword!

We think you are glamorous all the time Jannie B!
Well maybe not on Sunday morning before breakfast at retreat.

It's with pleasure that we welcome Vicki Williams to our chorus as a member of our Baritone section.
